Terms and Conditions for Be Close To Me Limited
Effective Date: January 2025
This Parent Agreement outlines the terms and conditions for engaging with Be Close To Me Limited ("we," "us," "our"). By completing the initial assessment form and using our services, you agree to these terms.
1. Services Offered
Be Close To Me Limited provides sleep coaching services, including sleep assessments, personalised sleep plans, and ongoing support.
Our holistic approach is evidence-based and follows guidance from the Lullaby Trust for safe sleep practices.
Services are tailored to your child’s individual needs, focusing on nurturing healthy sleep habits and secure sleep environments.
Our methods do not include the "cry it out" approach. Gentle, responsive techniques are used to address sleep issues.
2. Sleep Plans
Each sleep plan is customised based on your child’s needs and is exclusively for your use. Please refrain from sharing the plans with third parties or on social media.
Additional support beyond the agreed package must be purchased within one month of the initial plan’s completion.
3. Client Responsibility
Clients must provide accurate and complete information during consultations.
We are not medically trained. If health concerns arise, we may refer or signpost you to appropriate services.
4. Fees and Payment
Fees are detailed on our website or within the agreed package. Payment must be completed before the initial consultation.
Following payment, consultation forms will be sent and must be returned at least 72 hours before the consultation to allow for preparation.
Payments are accepted via bank transfer only.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Fees are non-refundable after the initial consultation and delivery of the sleep plan.
Cancellations before the sleep plan is delivered will incur:
50% of the package fee after the initial consultation.
25% of the package fee if cancelled before the initial consultation.
Delays in starting the agreed plan may incur additional charges (15% of the package per week of delay).
6. Confidentiality
All information exchanged during consultations, including sleep plans and communications, is confidential. Sharing this information may result in termination of services.
Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, ensuring GDPR compliance.
Confidentiality may be breached if safeguarding concerns arise, requiring referrals to the local safeguarding hub.
7. Liability
Our services are for support and guidance; specific results cannot be guaranteed.
We are not liable for health issues resulting from non-adherence to recommendations or for indirect or consequential damages.
8. Termination of Services
We reserve the right to terminate services if a client:
Fails to comply with these terms.
Engages in abusive or harmful behaviour.
9. Changes to Terms and Conditions
These terms may be updated periodically. Updates will be posted on our website, and continued use of services indicates acceptance of the revised terms.

Declarations
By engaging with Be Close To Me Limited, you acknowledge the following:
You have read and agree to the terms and conditions.
You understand your role and responsibilities in resolving sleep issues.
You waive and release Mrs Madelena Blaker (Director of Be Close To Me Limited) from claims of liability or compensation.
